Division Manager, Physicians Billing
Based in Denison, TX, Millennia Information Systems, LP partners with physician practices to provide billing and practice management services. Billing, coding, accounts receivables management and compliance are part of the healthcare services and solutions we offer our clients. Position Description:
Division Manager is responsible for managing the day to day activities of the medical billing operations. Areas of focus are: Provide staff with direction, support and training. Lead the group in attaining production, financial and other corporate goals through effective management. Coordinate and evaluate performance of all division functional areas, initiate corrective plans and actions to improve performance and/or resolve issues as they arise. Coordinate appropriate training of staff and adherence to policies and procedures. Ensure adherence of state, local, and federal Billing Compliance regulations. Interact with account management teams and clients to ensure timely deliverance of service goals. Will oversee a staff of 20-25 employees.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will have a strong operational background and financial understanding of healthcare revenue cycle management. Must have exceptional team building, organizational, leadership and management skills. Must be service oriented, energetic, willing to be “hands on” when necessary and committed to delivering positive results.
Requirements:
4 year degree or equivalent experience
5 years supervisory experience
5 – 8 years Physician Billing experience
Systems and software proficiency, including Excel, Word, Access and Outlook
General Requirements
Experience with Access a plus
Experience with radiology billing a plus
Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style
